SO, WHAT EXACTLY WILL YOU BE DOING FOR US IF WE DECIDE TO HIRE YOU?
Our Academic Coaching Program is usually the starting point for our parents and their students. This will provide step by step, month by month coaching that includes the following:
We have additional services (college aid report, admissions boot camp, college funding plan, scholarship database set up, financial aid application assistance, appeals assistance and more) that families may use to upgrade to higher level programs depending on their families needs.
CAN’T I PUT THIS OFF? OR NOW IS NOT A GOOD TIME FOR ME! OR I REALLY DON’T WANT TO MAKE A DECISION! OR I HATE COMMITTING TO ANYTHING! CAN’T THIS WAIT?
We tell parents all the time, the early bird catches the worm. The family that wins the college funding gam is the family that is proactive and starts the process as early as late middle school.
WHAT IF MY STUDENT DOESN’T KNOW WHAT THEY WANT TO DO OR DOESN’T KNOW WHERE THEY WANT TO GO, WOULDN’T IT BE A WASTE OF TIME FOR THE SERVICE??
That’s why our programs include career assessments to determine the best fit careers and majors that fit your students inner hard wiring.
If you are the type of parents that let’s a 17 year old make a $100,000.00 to $200,000.00 decision of your money, then yes. If you are a concerned parent that cares about the effect of paying for college and not drowning in debt and possibly extend your time for retirement, you will need a professional to help.
I’D FEEL BETTER IF I’D TALK WITH SOME OF YOUR CLIENTS FIRST, CAN YOU ARRANGE THAT FOR ME?
We usually do not like to inconvenience our clients. We really respect our client’s privacy and in many cases you’d be discussing with them personal financial matters, which are frankly none of your business. In the past we had allowed that and went so far as to set up the meeting or set up a phone conversation and had the people not follow through. To be honest, even if we were the worst planners in the world, we could find 2 or 3 people who could say we were great even if there were hundreds whom felt that we were horrible. We suggest you go to the BBB and check out our rating and reviews as well as Dan Evertsz’s Linkedin profile.
BUT, CAN’T THE SCHOOLS’ COUNSELORS HELP STUDENTS WITH THIS?
High School counselors do the best they can do. On average most high school counselors have 500 students to service. If your school has more resources (Private & Catholic), their focus is getting students into college. They do not focus on maximizing financial aid and paying for college strategies.
If a family is willing to put in the hundreds of hours of research that’s required. You can also be a Doctor or Lawyer if you are willing to spend years of your life in specialized study.
College Money Pros experts have over ten years experience and understand the ins & outs of the college funding process. By implementation of insider secrets & strategies not known to the general public, we can significantly lower a family’s out of pocket cost for college.
WILL THE EXTRA COSTS TO PARTICIPATE IN A SEMESTER ABROAD PROGRAM MAKE ME ELIGIBLE FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE?
Not necessarily, this is school specific and depends on the arrangements at the participating schools. In general, there will be additional cost for your family.
MY SON WANTS TO RETURN HOME AND LIVE WITH US WHILE ATTENDING GRADUATE SCHOOL. WILL THIS AFFECT HIS ELIGIBILITY FOR FINANCIAL AID?
No, graduate school is based on the income profile of the student who has an undergraduate degree and working on his masters. Where you live has no effect in the financial aid process.
Our programs run from $1000.00 to $5000.00 depending on the best fit for our family.
(Programs from $97.00 per month to $5,000.00 for our full featured program depending on your needs).
